What if every church did this?
The church has enormous power to influence government. It’s no wonder so many push the idea that “separation of church and state” means the church (and its people) must sit down and be quiet about government issues.
If every church made an effort to inform its congregation about what’s going on in their government and how they could engage in the process, we would most certainly see a dramatic shift.
Cedar Park Church in Bothell, Washington has always made a priority of educating and informing their members of issues happening in their state and on a federal level and encouraging them to fulfill their civic duty.
Recently, Cedar Park launched their “CITIZEN CENTRAL” table in the church foyer.
At “Citizen Central”, churchgoers can:
Receive a pocket Constitution
Learn about upcoming events
Refer to Conservative Ladies of Washington for more action steps and information on policy issues in the state and beyond
This is a simple and very effective way the church can engage Christians to take speak up and take action to create real change in their local community, state and nation.
Please consider asking your pastor if this is something your church could do. When Christians engage, we WILL see change! If CLA can do anything to assist you and your church in creating a Citizen Central, please email our team at info@conservativeladiesofamerica.com
